Green Organic is a Canadian company that has it main farm location in China. They are a grower, packer, shipper of 100% certified IQF organic fruit and vegetables with no additives and or preseratives as they use Non – GMO organic seed.

All fruit and vegetables are harvested at their peak; processed within 1 – 2 hours to perfectly preserve the nutrition and flavor which is achieved in one of our 3 processing plants that are immediately adjacent to 5,000 acres (one small parcel of over 35,000 acres dedicated solely to organic farming). All products are hand cultivated, hand harvested and hand processed. Diverse crop rotations maximize biological activity, which enhances soil health and minimizes the carbon footprint.

Asparagus is particularly tasty and healthy. There are so many ways to prepare and enjoy this vegetable that you can make a multitude of dishes.

The younger the plant with wider the stalk. There is a natural point where the woody or more dried out section of the asparagus ends and the tender part begins. Find this sweet spot by bending the spear until it snaps at this natural point. (usually at the bottom 1 3 of the spear).

Excellent when tossed and drizzled with lemon and olive oil or browned butter. Excellent in salads dressed with vinaigrette.
